The day isn’t over yet but I’m about to dive in and spend a few hours creating and building and tinkering so I wanted to get this done before I get sidetracked πŸ™‚

This morning I was like a little kid on Christmas morning because I’ve been SO excited for 2018 to start so when it finally arrived I was one happy lady.

I was up nice and early to begin working my way through my new 21 point daily checklist, something I’d created a little while back but had been waiting for today to begin using, as soon as I opened my eyes I was all “lemme at it!” and the minute Dave was up and out the door (before 7) I was on a mission.

I started my day with writing out my goals, listing everything I’m grateful for in my life and then I meditated on my goals and gratitude for 15 minutes.

After that I wrote today’s blog and mailed it to my list, did my first Livestream for the year and then uploaded that video to Youtube and also FB & Insta storied (created a new verb) those posts, I also dropped in to some facebook groups I belong to, to see if there was anyone I could help. Something on my new daily checklist is “solve 3 problems” which is my way of being able to help people who are stuck on things I can easily help with.

After that, I made myself an omelet and coffee and headed outside to eat while I watched a video on creating a 7 figure funnel.

Then I headed to the gym to train legs and then went for an hour long walk along the beach on my way back, when I got home I did some food prep and then worked on my funnel for a bit before speaking to my daughter for close to an hour.

It’s been a really great start to the year and last night was the perfect end to the last one.

I’d purchased this bottle of 1997 Grange a couple of years ago and Dave and I opened it last night to celebrate another year together and to celebrate Dave’s Birthday at the same time.

I have to say this has ruined me for regular wine, it was bloody fantastic and I’ll be grabbing another one very soon!

That’s all I really want to say about 2017 – I’m done with thinking about it and I’m done with talking about it, from here on in it’s all about 2018 and the incredible things I have planned in the coming weeks and months.

Another thing I want to share is that tomorrow I begin my 30 Bikram Yoga Classes in 30 Days self-imposed challenge, my posture has turned to crap with all of the time I’ve been spending at my desk and my flexibility needs work too if I hope to train well in Taekwondo when classes start back.

The things that are going to bug me are that the classes go for 90 minutes – that is a LOOOONG time and I know I’m going to be feeling anxious even though I have all the time I need to do it!

I’m planning on doing the 9.30am class over the 6 am class so I can get a bunch of stuff done before I go so I can actually relax!

Then there’s the sweat…..I’ll be up to 3 showers a day so I can kiss my fake tan and good hair days goodbye.

Balancing my other training, so sweating my ass off for 90 minutes and then feeling like hitting it again in the afternoon for another hour or so while I do my weights and intervals.

All stuff I’ll be working through because I’ll just have to, I’ve made the commitment to myself so it’s in stone now, I’ll keep you updated on my progress and you can expect a lot of the sweaty version of me showing up each day πŸ™‚

For those of you lovely ladies who have been following along on my peri-menopause hell ride, I’m happy to report that the Chinese Herbs seemed to have done the trick! I have zero symptoms at the moment and it’s been over 3 months since my last period so I’m definitely well into the thick of it now but after the first 2 hell months things seemed to have settled right down (touch wood), no moods, no pains, no bloating, no insomnia…I’m definitely more tired than usual but other than that I feel amazing.Β  Fingers crossed this continues!!
